Congratulations to Paula A. Echeverri Durango of our Advocacy Network. She has received the “2024 Award for Advocacy in Early Childhood Education” from MAAEYC, the Massachusetts Association for the Education of Young Children.
As MAAEYC explains on its website, it gives a number of awards to recognize “individuals who have dedicated their work, time, and resources to children, families and the field of early care and education.”
The Advocacy in Early Childhood Education award recognizes early educators who bring creativity and innovation to their work and unwavering dedication to their profession.
“This recognition means a lot to me, and I am deeply grateful for the appreciation of my work in advocating for early childhood education,” Echeverri says on her LinkedIn page. “I feel a deep passion for advocating for the well-being and development of young children, and this award serves as a motivating reminder that our efforts in this field are making a difference.”
“I share this achievement with all dedicated educators, parents, and collaborators who work tirelessly to create a brighter future for our little ones.”
