a new early education center for Fall River, Mass.

“On Wednesday, there was a groundbreaking ceremony for the $13.5 million state-of-the-art People Incorporated Early Education Center on Weaver Street that, when completed in 2025, will serve up to 213 infants, toddlers and preschoolers.”

“The ceremony started with a few songs sung by a group of preschool children followed by speeches from local, state and federal leaders, including Sen. Ed Markey who revealed that he and Sen. Elizabeth Warren had secured $2 million toward the multimillion-dollar early learning facility.”

“ ‘While children don’t create our most pressing problems, they are the creators of the solutions that will solve them,’ said Markey. ‘Giving them the opportunity to grow, learn and thrive, children represent the power of possibility in our nation.’ ”
